Experimental Setup

Here you can view the experimental set-up from all sides using an animation. You can also interactively examine the experiment yourself with the help of a 3D model.

3D Animation

This 3D animation shows the core of the main experiment. In particular, we see the furnace of the Dy Atoms, a 2D MOT and the Experimental Chamber including the 3D MOT.

3D Model

This interactive 3D model of the experiment allows an intensive and detailed view of the experimental setup. It is possible to rotate the camera around the centre of the camera with the left mouse button, to zoom with the mouse wheel and to move the 3D model with the right mouse button.
