Academia & Science

Maurice Rieger is a Quantum Computing enthusiast, passionate about Quantum Science and Technology in general and currently studying in a joint master programme of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with a current GPA of 4.0.

Throughout his academic journey Maurice served his physics student community on a national and international basis. His involvement as National Board Member in the young German Physical Society (jDPG) and member of the organization board of the DPG Mentoring Programme of the German Physical Society (DPG) has allowed him to acquire a broad skillset, especially by organising multi-day events, as well as communicating with industry and academia. Together with his position as Liaison Officer in the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) and the fact that he is one of five german Student Ambassadors of the American Physical Society (APS), Maurice volunteers to lower the entry barrier to international networks and to create a framework facilitating a dialog between academia and industry.

Outside of physics, Maurice uses his skillset at ChimpEvents, a project planning and event logistics company, in his position as an executive assistant and in Immersive Productions, a photography and webdesign company that helps other people to express their vision and leverage their impact in the world wide web.
